I abolutely loved the previous book ...... , so I could not wait to get my grabby hands on this one. I finished it in one go...I don't even think I took a pee break, that's how much I enjoyed this one ;)

Now for those of you haven't read Rule Breaker, no worries, this one can be read as a stand alone. I don't know

you would want to do this....but it's possible :P

Jude was introduced in the previous book as Dylan's best friend. He's a model, but other than that we didn't get to know a lot about it. Well beauty is only skin deep, but there is much more to Jude, than meets the eye !!

Jude has decided some time ago, that relationships are just not for him. He only goes for the one and done now, and all the men he spends time with know the score. His life might not be as fullfilling as he would like, but it's for the best. He doesn't need more....until he meets Asa that is...

A little disaster has him fleeing his appartment, and looking for a temporary place to stay. This leads him to Asa, a famous actor who has been out of the game for some time, to take care of his son Billy, who was awesome by the way.

The moment these two meet the sexual tension shoots through the roof.....but so does the hostility :P  It was

when Jude toyed with Asa a bit ;)

It becomes clear real soon that these two can not stay away from each other !!

Asa has his own troubled past and, even though he is very attracted to Jude, he knows Jude has one foot out the door already. They agreed to only stay together for the summer...but there are these pesky things called

    to deal with...

I really loved this one !! It was sweet, funny and sexy and I closed it with a big smile on my face. I hope there will be plenty more to come after this one, because I will read them all ;) Highly recommended !!

    Asa's very verbal assertion (

' screwed up nearly every job duty that Asa gave him. If Asa was expecting Jude to be an air-headed bimbo, well,

And it was freaking hilarious to witness.

My single favorite comedic scene from the book was

at the front door of Asa's Pink Palace, where Jude began to work his way into their lives.

I love books with true-to-life representations of kids and Morton completely nailed Billy in this story. He was

The book was chock full of hilarity from start to finish, but

that I never felt that the book was trying too hard to evoke laughs.

But along with the humor, there are plenty of tender, touching chapters as well, some with steam and some steam-free. The section where Asa finally gave Jude a truly happy birthday, and the 2 years later

    This story was

, with my only criticism being Morton's tendency (

    Those scenes were very

    5 Stars!

An amazing book to end my year with.

I was beyond thrilled when I learned Jude would not only being getting his own book, but that his would be coming out next. I loved him from the first book and couldn't wait to see where his story would take him. I was VERY pleased where it went. I loved that we got plenty of Gabe and Dylan as well. It was funny how Jude came off like their wayward son. Jude and Dylan were as entertaining in this book as they were in the first book. I love their friend

I love their friendship. There is plenty of laughter, snarky come backs, and the banter between all these characters were on point.

Jude is a great friend, he's loyal, has a big heart, and gorgeous working as a model. He's bubbly and fun. He loves to read; historical romance is his preference. He's got a quick tongue to go with his charming personality. But there is a lot more to this man than his looks and charm. Jude has known tragedy and keeps a lot close to his chest letting few people in on the weight he carries around on his shoulders. He let one man get too close in the past only to have that man let him down. He refuses to ever let another get that close so he won't have to feel the pain of them walking away when his burdens are revealed.

Asa... When I think of this man two words come to mind; colorful and large. If you have read the book you will understand why I think of both of those words. Large? Because Asa is a big man with a big personality with a big well known career as an actor. He has loads of friends and a couple of very interestingly unique characters who work for him. I loved his cook and butler. They were hilarious and were more his family than staff. Colorful? Because of his pink front door and the back gate with the flowers. Plus all the colors his walls are painted throughout the house. But the best part of Asa was his son, Billy. That boy stole a lot of the scene's. He was so adorable and I loved him.

Jude has unfortunate luck when destruction hits his apartment and he finds himself homeless until the repairs can be made. His flavor at the moment sets him up with staying with his step-brother and in exchange Jude will be a sort of an assistant to this man. Asa and Jude have a pleasant introduction. That is until Jude reveals he's a model. Asa has a huge problem with models. Well only with 2 but mainly with the one that left a horrendous trail of hurt and bitterness behind for Asa. Going off his experience with his past encounters, Asa makes quick judgments towards Jude's intelligence and what kind of person he is. Jude takes in stride with a side of humor and decides instead of proving Asa wrong that he'll go ahead and give Asa the version of the kind of person he deemed him as. Obviously hilarity ensues.

Two men with trust issues. One carrying his burdens around like a noose around his neck who doesn't believe a man could love him enough to help him carry them. Then one who really wants to settle down with someone he can love and trust with his heart and his child.

The romance is a slow burn but the burn is so good. The pace is perfect.

There is no way you won't come away from this book without having laughed and laughed a lot. There is no way you won't come away not having enjoyed these characters. I won't believe it.

I highly recommend this series and I can't wait for the next one.

    Happy reading dolls! xx

    I didn't read

, a decision I'm regretting since I loved Dylan and Gabe in this book. Dylan's interactions with Jude were hilarious, but then again

    .

Seriously, I was giggling like a lunatic, to the point that my dogs were giving me the Mom Is Crazy look. Any book that can make me laugh like that is a WIN, but

is more than just humour, snark, and banter (although it has all three in spades!).

Seriously, I was giggling like a lunatic, to the point that my dogs were giving me the Mom Is Crazy look. Any book that can make me laugh like that is a WIN, but

is more than just humour, snark, and banter (although it has all three in spades!).

The MCs are complex and fully fleshed out. Jude is gorgeous and witty; he loves to read, especially historical romance novels (a man after my own heart!). He's kind and loyal, and gives as good as he gets.

Asa is larger than life. He's a big man: big heart, big personality, big . . . yeah, that too. But Asa's been burned and has an aversion to models, whom he stereotypes as vapid and shallow.

Far be it for Jude to prove Asa wrong; oh, no, Jude goes out of his way to prove him RIGHT and becomes the Worst Personal Assistant EVER.

Asa's little boy, Billy, reminded me so much of my 7-year-old son. The hamster debacle! OMG! My kid once "borrowed" two hermit crabs from his classroom, and my reaction pretty much mirrored Asa's: scream first, ask questions later.

(Tell me how you really feel: Those hermit crabs and all their friends could have climbed up Phillip's arse, and I'd happily watch the fucker squirm in agony. That piece of shit douchehole deserved nothing less.)

Often, kids in books annoy me. They either talk like they're 40-year-old philosophy professors far too invested in adult relationships or they're mere props, flitting in and out of scenes on an as-needed basis. But Billy is an absolute gem: loving, smart, and easygoing!

Come to think of it, all the secondary characters in this book are amazing: the cheeky and lovable Peggy, life-of-the-party Amos (every "pressing" thing that came out of Amos's mouth cracked me up), Jude's parents, and the brilliant (or brilliantly stoned) Dean (I can't hate on Dean too much; after all, he's the one who, um, "introduced" Asa and Jude).

Asa and Jude go from mild enemies to friends to lovers to EVERYTHING. Their relationship develops naturally, and Jude's insistence that he doesn't do long-term because he doesn't want to be a burden seems like a hollow protest indeed. Jude can no more stay away from Asa & Billy than stop breathing.

: Jude channeling Joan Rivers during the epic pool incident in Spain, Dean as Dean, and Billy the innkeeper. Bravo!

    4 Stars.

I was really looking forward to getting Jude's story after he was introduced in

and he was just as delicious as I thought he'd be.

,29,model.Quick witted, beautiful but there's a lot more to Jude than people first think when meeting him. He's given up on letting any man get too close to him. When he puts his family commitments first men tend to walk again so he's happy with no strings sex

,44,actor,father with a strong sense of family. He's been burned in love

,44,actor,father with a strong sense of family. He's been burned in love before so how will he cope when meeting the gorgeous Jude who pushes his buttons right from the start

,5....yes I couldn't not mention him. He's just got to be one of the most endearing child characters I've read about.I absolutely loved him!

Jude finds himself temporarily homeless,so when a fellow model suggests his half brother(Asa) is in need of a PA it might be the perfect solution.A bit of PA work in exchange for a few months accommodation....how difficult could it be?

has, once again got the British humour and banter totally on point here.

-it's quite a slow burn which totally worked, although the sexual attraction/chemistry between the two men is evident pretty much from the start....on that note...

    -super,super,sexy,

-one of my absolute highlights is the relationship Jude and Billy have-it was just perfect,

-good supporting characters, especially Dylan and Gabe,I just loved their part here and,as usual,Dylan was full of sass.

    A recommended read.
