and it was a complete rollercoaster ride from the beginning until the end. Right from the first page you are thrown right back into the action where the second book left off. All our three main characters have their own battles to fight in the hope to restore balance to Loom and Nova.

Arianna has to work on the Philosopher's Box, Florence is busier than ever with having a huge part in the rebellion against the Dragon wheres Cvareh has to deal with his brother on Nova. The three of them are under intense pressure from the world, the Dragons and the Guilds. There is no time to waste of the Dragons who the serve the Dragon King will destroy the Guilds.

This entire book makes you sit on the edge of your chair because you simply want to know how it ends. There is so much action happening throughout the entire book. Also because so many important decisions have to made you realize how much our three main characters have grown since we've got to know them in the first book. You cannot help but feel proud of all of them for that and all the decisions they were making.

Despite the heavy action and the pressure there is still love to be found.

The end of the book left my heart in utter pieces.

knows precisely how to toy with your heart and you let her because you're enjoying her books. This book just hurt more because it was the ending and I'll never get to go back to Loom and Nova and read about all of these characters that I've grown to love so much. I merely want to thank Elise for the ending that she wrote because it was everything that I've could've asked. I did cry whilst I was reading it but those were mostly tears of joy.

I don't think I'm going to be over this series any time soon. I've spent the last year invested in her world and it was an absolute blast. Elise is such a profound author. Her writing has developed since she started to write the

series which I've loved to pieces as well. I honestly wouldn't say which of her series was better because both were completely different and I cannot compare them. They both told a different story. Only the world building in the

is more detailed which is a nice thing. I think I can say that all of Elise's work has touched my heart and will remain there. I will always profoundly think back of this series with a fond memory.

Thank you Elise for writing this series because I will love it for many long years to come. I will definitely reread this series somewhere in the future. I'm not done with Loom and Nova yet.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Not that anyone is reading this, but the trading card swag was unlocked! Last time, Leona's card was up for grabs, so I un-greedily got

extra; my own card received from the previous swag was Cva's. If anyone has an extra Ari's or just for some reason doesn't want hers, throw it at me and I will readily embrace it (unless I got hers myself for this swag. We'll see.) If I have a 2nd Cva's, I'll happily trade it away (for Ari's,) if I got Flor's, I'll still be happy to trade it away. So yes, if it is still unclear, I'd really like Ari's card lmao. Thanks. <3

(... Just throwing it out there, if there's an anniversary edition, THEN maybe let it be Ari and Cva on the cover? lmao)

Sighs... Whelp, can't say I didn't let my wish known. Not that I think the cover is ugly, I just really wanted Ari and Cva standing side by side!

and NOT, say Florence? Pretty please? I'm like actually sad that there's only one book left. Ari & Cva FTW. I can't get enough of them. I want them in the same picture (in Nick D. Grey's fabulous art style) so bad.

It's probably not going to happen; but hey, at least I shouted out my wish this early on? >:3

Okay, I've got mixed bag of feelings about this book. It was a good finale to this trilogy but it really wasn't a mind blowing one. Okay, I've got mixed bag of feelings about this book. It was a good finale to this trilogy but it really wasn't a mind blowing one. I expected this finale to be fully action packed but the story moved in a slow pace which was a bit disappointing and the main action is found at the end of the book. Although I had issue with the pacing, the story never failed to hold my interest.  The characters were pretty good. Besides Arianna and Cvareh, I loved seeing Florence in her new role. She played a major part in this book and I'm glad to see her in action. She looks pretty badass in that stunning cover and I absolutely loved it.

The story picks up from where it was left off in Dragons in Nova where Arianna escapes from the dragon King's clutches in nova with the help of a glider and crash lands at the mercury town in Loom. She soon wakes up to find herself captive of Louie, king of Mercury town who wants to make a deal with her. On the  other hand, Florence wants to unite all of the five guilds in Loom to fight against their dragon oppressors. On Nova, Cvareh was devastated to hear about his sister petra's death and he can't do anything but to serve his traitorous brother Finnyr, the new Oji of House Of Xin. To have a chance against the dragons, the people of Loom need an army of perfect chimera but it wouldn't bring them the total victory they also need to ally with Cvareh and his house of dragons. Finally, unlikely allies team up together to fight against their enemy to bring peace and a new change.  But the evil mastermind Coletta was far smarter than they thought she was and she would do anything to bring down her enemies.

Florence was definitely the star of the book and she grew into a such a strong character filled with lots of confidence, intelligence, and fearlessness. She also got a love interest in this book. Her unrequited feelings towards someone didn't came as a surprise to me and I'm quite happy with her final choice at the end. Arianna was totally badass and she's still my favorite character in this series. I always liked her hot and cold personality especially towards Cvareh. She likes him but she tries hard to deny her feelings towards him because they're both from different worlds. Cvareh was a pretty enjoyable character. With his sister's death, his whole world turns pretty much upside down and the responsibility of his house rests on his shoulder even though he wasn't the Oji. I wish we had more Cvareh's POV's because this book mostly has Florence's, Arianna's and Coletta's perspectives. Besides the romance between Cvareh and Arianna, there is also an LGBTQ romance but it's not the central focus of the book. If you've read the previous book, then you've already guessed who's the main villain of this series. Yeah, It's Coletta. She's smart but at the same time totally creepy. I really wish she was more powerful with some badass skills besides making mastermind evil plans for her husband and creating dangerous poisons because I would love to see a kickass fight between her and Arianna. Nonetheless, she still makes an interesting villain.

The plot was interesting but I felt the pacing a bit slow. Most of the plot was focused on planning the war against the dragon king and things gets intense only at the ending part. My other issue was the rushed ending. More than 80 percent of the book was focused on planning the war against the dragon king and when the time for final battle begins, it ends very soon like in few chapters. It was over just like that and here I was expecting an epic battle like I found in Air Awakens series. So I was a bit disappointed with how things ended so quickly in a rush. However, I still enjoyed the whole journey. The writing style of the author was descriptive and Vivid, as always. The story was told from Arianna's, Florence's, Cvareh's, and Coletta's perspective. The world building was stunning and it's the best aspect of this whole series.

Overall, I liked it! It's not my favorite, but It's definitely a satisfying finale. I loved the ending, it seemed a bit fairytale-ish to me but it's really a good one. I can't believe this series was finally over. Although it wasn't my favorite series, I'm still gonna miss Arianna, Cvareh, and Florence, and also the world of Loom and Nova. After finally saying goodbye to this series, I'm so looking forward to Elise Kova's new series Society Of Wishes which is going to be released soon. I can't wait to read it!

    Recommend it?

    Yes!

I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves YA fantasy filled with amazing world building, kickass main characters, and interesting plot.

So...I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but I went in with really high expectations, because this is Elise Kova of course. Needless to say, I think a lot of them were met. However, this is the first time I'm giving one of her books four stars instead of five.

I love the characters. I love Arianna, even more than Vhalla. This ended in such a way though that I didn't feel completely satisfied. There was so much build up and it was very drawn out, but then it ended so quickly. There was a couple things in particular that irked me at the in regards to Ari and Cvareh, or more her treatment of him. I'm not into spoilers though, so I won't go into that.

Overall this was a really good series, but I think I felt a bit let down with how everything turned out with Arianna, and how her relationship with everyone progressed. Not to mention Florence. I understand why she had so many sections, but a lot of them didn't feel neccessary. I like her as a character, but her perspective wasn't nearly as interesting in comparison to the others.

Lastly, I want to end this on a good note. Things I really love in a high-fantasy outside of the romance were mostly there. Kova built a breathtaking magic system, her writing was flawless as always, and I've yet to find many authors that can build worlds so unique. For readers that aren't big on romance, this is probably a great fantasy read. It has lots of interesting compartments. For readers that were hoping for more in the romance department to go with the fantasy...you might feel similarly to me when it's all said and done.

    3.5 stars rounded up.

I liked it well enough. There was a bit of purple prose here and there, and the romantic end seemed a bit melodramatic, but overall it was a good fantasy story.
