    I expected just recipes from Bobby Flay’s Fit, but I also got many great tips on following a healthy lifestyle and actually sticking to it.

    I like how the recipes were categorized under different themes: breakfast, dinner, etc...

    I believe it’s a good book for people who seek to eat healthy and somewhat simple recipes.

    Lots of good ideas for me here. Reasonable list of ingredients, reasonable prep time, appealing dishes. Recipes I actually might prepare! Nicely formatted with photos supporting less usual items.

    It's the usual celebrity cookbook; not necessarily for the budget conscious cook like me. Lamb, trout, sea bass, and a shopping list of other ingredients Mr. Flay uses in his recipes are not usually found in the average kitchen. The novice cook may find this cookbook a little overwhelming.

    However. I did like that he uses herbs and spices to kick up the flavor of foods; not always just salt and pepper. The book is laid out nicely; starting with the Basics, Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch, and so on. Th

    Personally, I could have done without all of the Bobby photos: Bobby standing, Bobby smiling, Bobby eating, Bobby walking, Bobby drinking. More photographs of the finished recipes would have been nice. Oh yeah, how could I forget....this is a celebrity cookbook.

    Nice looking recipes here, but most are too complex or fancy for my family. I did takeaway a few tips and plan on trying a few of the simpler recipes.

    The 2 recipes I made personally came out well. For my library's Cookbook Book Club, I tried 8 other recipes and they were all great. We had a few complaints: for one recipe there was no directions about how to toast the oatmeal. For another, it indicated a medium English cucumber and it felt like there could have been a note stating that, when chopped, it gives you 1 cup, or something.

I chose this book because I wanted us to try a Bobby Flay title and I saw adequate copies of the book for each member of the group.

    This felt like it was geared to experienced cooks but, again, some in our group felt that more detailed instructions were lacking.
